A Bit About Me
Beatrice Jones entered Healthcare in 2000. She began working as a medical clerk. Her job was to assist teams such as physicians, Directors, and patients with getting medical services paid. She quickly became friends with the Health Insurance Nurse approval team. She learned that as little as one statement could approve or deny a service. After receiving her certification, she delved into learning all she could about medical coding. Beatrice earned her certification as a medical coding instructor in 2006, from there she has trained numerous students. Her audience of students includes, physicians, nurse practitioners, directors, medical coders, new students, and more. She was once a student in a 16-week training course and is living proof that you can change your career in a little as 16 weeks and make a great salary. With hard work and dedication to the field Beatrice has tipped over a 6-figure salary using her medical coding skills.
Beatrice holds a CPC and CPC-I (Approved Instructor) certification with AAPC. Beatrice has been a workshop speaker, served as a Board Member, Kansas City Chapter, AAPC and earned her Fellowship under AAPC. Outside of teaching Beatrice enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Early in her role, she built strong working relationships with the Health Insurance Nurse Approval Team, where she discovered how critical documentation was in determining whether services would be approved or denied—often hinging on just a single statement.
In the year 2000, Beatrice Jones earned her certifications in CPC, CPC-I, and Fellow. This achievement marked a pivotal moment in her professional development, reflecting her dedication and commitment to advancing her skills in the field. The journey to certification involved extensive study and training, which ultimately enhanced her expertise and opened new doors for her career.
